With effect from 23 January 2020, please take note that MSIG TravelRight Plus insurance does not cover any claims arising from the outbreak, which is deemed a "known" event.
However, if you purchased the travel insurance before 23 January 2020, coverage will only be extended to the following:

For MSIG Healthcare Insurance:
With effect from 31 January 2020, MSIG will extend to cover treatment cost related to COVID-19 incurred in Malaysia for our medical and health insurance.
MSIG wishes to advise our policyholders to take precautionary measures & practice the highest standard of hygiene as advised by Ministry of Health Malaysia and World Health Organization.
