Persatuan Insurans Am Malaysia (PIAM) have set up a CSR Flood Relief Fund (“CSR Fund”), contributing RM2.43 million to alleviate the hardship faced by vehicle owners whose vehicles were inundated under flood water.
This CSR assistance will be in the form of subsidy towards a clean-up at workshops for vehicles directly affected by the floods.

Effective 15 January 2022, eligible policyholders can apply for the subsidy by online submission via the portal ‘MyCSR-Flood.my’.
Eligibility Criteria
Type of vehicles: Private Cars, Motorcycles, Commercial Vehicles
Type of policies: Valid Motor Insurance at the time of flood occurred; or
Expired motor insurance at the time the flood occurred but the vehicle was last insured on or after 1 June 2021.
Subsidy amount is based on actual cost-incurred basis, and is capped at:
