Updated on 12 January 2024 - MSIG is pleased to announce the Windscreen Repair Campaign is now extended until 30 June 2024 with the same terms and conditions.   

Repair Your Windscreen, Not Replace!

Why so, you ask?

Specially for MSIG Comprehensive Private Car insurance with Windscreen Motor Add-on, MSIG will restore your sum insured for no additional premium when you choose to repair instead of replace your windscreen. By choosing to repair your windscreen, not only are you saving valuable time, you and MSIG are advocating for less waste and a better environment.

What are the benefits of Windscreen Repair over Windscreen Replacement?

1. Repairing a windscreen will result in a shorter time at the workshop.
2. The repair process is cleaner as it is done from the outside.
3. The tint on the windscreen does not need to be reapplied.
4. Windscreen replacement increases the risk of water leakage, air entry, rust and corrosions.
5. If fitted incorrectly, a replaced windscreen may detach in the event of impact.
6. Windscreens are difficult to recycle and will likely end up in landfill. It is more sustainable and better for the environment to repair a windscreen.

All MSIG Private Car Comprehensive Insurance Policy with Windscreen Motor Add-on are eligible for this campaign. The Campaign will begin on 15th February 2023 and extended to 30th June 2024 (from 31st December 2023, both dates inclusive (“Campaign Period”)).
