MSIG Insurance (Malaysia) Bhd confirms one COVID-19 cases at Head Office, Kuala Lumpur – January 2021

MSIG Insurance (Malaysia) Bhd (“MSIG”) would like to confirm that one non-customer facing employee at the Head Office in Kuala Lumpur, located at Menara Hap Seng 2 has tested positive for COVID-19 on 5 January 2021. The affected staff was last in the office on 24 December 2020.

MSIG has undertaken a contact tracing exercise and those who have been identified as close contacts have been asked to self-quarantine and undergo COVID-19 test. Rest assured that we are working closely with the health authorities on any follow up measures required. 

We have also conducted a thorough sanitisation on all floors occupied by MSIG on 27 December 2020 as precautionary measures for the wellbeing of our employees, partners, customers & tenants.

We wish to reassure everyone that we have and will continue to implement all necessary preventive measures to help curb the spread of COVID-19, in line with local authorities’ guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure a safe environment for everyone at our offices around the country.

Our thoughts are with our affected employee and we hope that she will make a full recovery as quickly as possible.
