Comprehensive coverage
While Fire is a mandatory cover, this plan also includes:
- All-in-One Policy with coverage on Burglary, Money, Fidelity Guarantee, Machinery & Equipment, Plate Glass, Personal Accident and Public Liability.
- Body Corporate and Office Bearers’ Liability Insurance Policy, insuring the entity and its members against losses arising from wrongful acts with extensions to cover libel and slander and loss of documents, subject to the policy terms and conditions.
Value added services
- Risk management and loss prevention services.
- Training on insurance coverage and risk management.
- Building valuation for fire insurance on reinstatement cost from MSIG’s panel of valuers.
- Home Assist Service Programme (for Unit Owners) - a 24-hour referral service which includes electrical wiring, plumbing, air-conditioning service, locksmithing, cleaning and restoration of carpets and furniture and roof repairs, but it does not cover the actual cost incurred.

Your Joint Management Body (JMB) or Management Corporation (MC) is responsible for the interests of many parties including the members of the JMB or MC, the unit owners and the residents.
The All-in-One Policy is designed for your convenience to protect your JMB or MC against many different types of unexpected losses in one policy with a competitive premium. Meanwhile the Body Corporate and Office Bearers’ Liability Insurance Policy insures the JMB or MC itself and its members against any claim or legal action they may face due to their negligence or wrongful acts committed or allegedly committed in their capacity as such.
The Joint Management Body (JMB) or Management Corporation (MC) itself as an entity and any of its past, present or future elected member are insured under the Body Corporate and Office Bearers’ Liability Insurance Policy.
Please provide a written notice to the Company with full details within 7 days upon receiving notice of or sustaining any accident, loss or damage. You may contact any MSIG Branch or your Insurance Adviser. Submit all relevant and necessary documents to the Company as soon as possible.
It is important that you inform MSIG of any change in your contact details to ensure that all correspondences reach you in a timely manner.
If you have a complaint about our product or services, or you are not satisfied with the rejection or offer of any settlement of a claim, you should first try to resolve the complaint with our MSIG Customer Service Centre.
If you are still not satisfied with the decision, you can write either to the BNMLINK of Bank Negara Malaysia or the Financial Markets Ombudsman Service (FMOS) (formerly known as Ombudsman for Financial Services (OFS)), free of charge.
