We are pleased to announce that, once again, MSIG Malaysia has been shortlisted as the top three finalists for the 26th Asia Insurance Industry Awards – General Insurance Company of the Year category! MSIG Malaysia had previously won the award for General Insurance Company of the Year in 2015, and we are proud to be up for selection again.
The Asia Insurance Awards is one of the most important regional events which recognises excellence in the insurance industry, and MSIG Malaysia is one of the 48 of 220 entries that have made it to the final stage.

Asia Insurance Industry Awards 2022 finalists revealed
The finalists for the 26th Asia Insurance Industry Awards have been revealed, with 51 of the region’s top insurers, brokers, risk managers and service providers making the shortlist.
The awards is well-known for its stringent criteria and a transparent selection process, overseen by a panel of expert judges from across the insurance industry. This year, we attracted over 220 entries over 17 categories.
For the first round of remote judging, judges went through the entries based on a 1,200-word write-up to arrive at a list of finalists. The final round of judging will be held on 1 September 2022, where judges will discuss each of the finalists’ entries in detail before selecting the winners through a secret ballot. The entire judging process is being audited by KPMG.
This year will see the awards ceremony being held live, in conjunction with SIRC, the first time since the pandemic hit the world in 2020. The awards have been hosted annually since 1997 by Asia Insurance Review – the voice of the insurance industry in Asia for the past 30 years.
