Third party property loss or damage
Third-Party Property Loss or Damage coverage is a key component of liability insurance, designed to protect the insured against financial responsibility for damage or loss caused to another person's property. It covers the costs of repair or replacement if the insured is found liable for damaging or destroying property belonging to a third party (someone not covered under the policy). This coverage is typically included in policies like motor insurance, public liability insurance, and certain homeowner insurance policies.
Loss or damage due to accidental fire, theft or accident
Loss or Damage Due to Accidental Fire, Theft, or Accident coverage is a type of protection typically included in property, vehicle, or comprehensive insurance policies. It ensures that the insured is financially compensated in the event of loss or damage caused by accidental fire, theft, or accidents that occur unexpectedly and unintentionally.

- Death or bodily injury of your authorised driver and/or passenger due to an accident
- Your liability against claims from passengers in your vehicle
- Theft of non-factory fitted vehicles accessories (vehicle stereos, leather seats, etc) unless otherwise declared
- Consequential loss, depreciation, wear and tear, mechanical or electrical breakdown failures or breakages
- Loss, damage or liability arising from an act of nature i.e. flood, storm or landslide
- Any loss, damage or liability caused by your vehicle being used for an unlawful purpose
- Driven by any person other than an authorised driver
- You or your authorised driver drives your vehicle whilst under the influence of alcohol or drug
- Your vehicle is left unattended in the event of any accident or breakdown

Frequently asked questions
You may cancel the cover at any time by notifying us in writing. Within 7 days of the cancellation, you must surrender to us the certificate of insurance or alternatively provide us with a statutory declaration. We may also cancel this cover by giving you 14 days' notice by registered post to your last known address. Details of the refund of premium are stated in the Policy, Cancellation Condition No. 3.
Please provide a written notice to the Company with full details within 7 days upon receiving notice of or sustaining any accident, loss or damage. You may contact any MSIG Branch or your Insurance Adviser to obtain a copy of the claim form. Submit the completed claim form to the Company together with all relevant documents as soon as possible.

If you have a complaint about our product or services, or you are not satisfied with the rejection or offer of any settlement of a claim, you should first try to resolve the complaint with our Customer Service Centre.
If you are still not satisfied with the decision, you can write either to the Customer Services Bureau of Bank Negara Malaysia or the Financial Markets Ombudsman Service (FMOS) (formerly known as Ombudsman for Financial Services (OFS)), free of charge.
